Ripple Weave Cone is a vertically oriented lighting piece designed to draw the eye upward. With its tapered geometry and softly glowing presence, it is made for corners, counters, and quiet spaces where a subtle focal point is needed.
The shade is 3D printed in a continuous spiral weave, giving the surface a fluid, layered texture. Light travels upward through the form, catching each ridge and fold to create a shifting interplay of shadow and translucency. Developed through iterative prototyping, the pattern responds to the changing diameter of the cone, gradually expanding and compressing to suit the geometry.
An LED light sits recessed in the base, directing light through the interior of the shade. A warm-toned disc rests just above the light source to tint and diffuse the glow while allowing the texture to remain sharp and defined. The shade sits freely on the base, and small knobs help keep it in place. No glue or hardware is required. The light comes with a USB plug-in cable (not a wall plug) and features a simple in-line on/off switch for easy control.
Offered in two finishes: translucent and amber. The translucent version emits a clean, even brightness, while amber enhances the shadows and adds warmth to the light.
